GOAT Flow gained its first two live integrations, GOAT Network went Diamond at KBW2026, and the settlement thesis went into writing. Plus the bug bounty results, a post-quantum map, and the Q3 read on agent payments. And one date to act on: Stargate support for GOAT Network ends October 23rd.

Last month's newsletter opened with GOAT Flow going live. This month, it started doing its job.

GOAT Flow: from live to earning

The month began with the on-ramp. How to Start Selling to AI Agents takes a merchant from sign-up to their first agent payment in seven steps, with no code involved. If you sell anything - products, services, data, API access - that guide is where GOAT Flow starts for you.

Then the integrations arrived.

StableJack became the first on September 10th: 96 market data endpoints that AI agents can now pay for directly, 0.5 USDC a call, paid from the agent's own wallet with every payment verified onchain.

KULT followed as the second integration live on GOAT Flow, and it points at something bigger: agents hiring agents. On KULT's Agent Commerce layer, an agent pays for a job through GOAT Flow, the work is delivered, independent verifiers check it, and the payment settles or refunds based on the result. The first full job has already settled in real USDC, with the contracts verified onchain. GOAT Flow proves the payment. KULT proves the work.

The bug bounty closes

The GOAT BitVM3 Bug Bounty ran for six weeks, from August 18th to September 29th. First batch results were published on September 8th: 86 classified findings, with 13 receiving awards from the $5,000 pool.

The final batch is now in engineering review. Its results will be published soon, and rewards for all awarded findings across the program are distributed together once that review completes. To every researcher who took the bridge seriously enough to attack it: thank you.

Post-quantum, mapped

September was the month GOAT's quantum work became legible from the outside.

A Post-Quantum Map audited every cryptographic surface in GOAT Network for quantum exposure - six of seven carry the work - and laid out what is exposed, what is already safe, and the order it gets fixed. GOAT Research went a level deeper with Anatomy of SHRINCS, a breakdown of the hash-based signature scheme under discussion as a post-quantum candidate for Bitcoin itself. And @ProjectZKM tackled the claim doing the most damage in this conversation - that hash-based automatically means post-quantum - in Hash-based is not the same as post-quantum.

The seven phases of the GOAT Network post-quantum roadmap.

The timing was not ours to plan: late in the month, Europe's financial watchdogs - the EBA, EIOPA, and ESMA - formally flagged quantum computing as a risk to the cryptography securing blockchains. No machine capable of the attack exists today. That is exactly the window in which migrations have to happen, and ours is underway.

The thesis, in writing

Three articles this month put GOAT's argument on the record.

Why Bitcoin Should be the Settlement Layer makes the core case: settle a bitcoin anywhere else and you're holding a promise, not a bitcoin - and everything that settles on GOAT, whatever the asset, inherits Bitcoin's finality.

The State of Agent Payments delivered the Q3 update to our June baseline: agent transactions just had their biggest month since the winter peak, the average payment is still 32 cents, and the demand is now real. The series continues quarterly.

Who Pays When the Agent Gets It Wrong? answers the question six global banks raised in September: when an agent makes a payment it shouldn't have, who's responsible? Liability follows evidence, and a verified rail produces it with every payment.

And the month ended with the thesis showing up in someone else's research: BlackRock published The Machine-Native Economy, describing agents paying over machine-native rails, naming x402 as an emerging standard, and citing the same Bitcoin Policy Institute study our August rails article was built on. The world's largest asset manager is now writing up the economy we've spent the year building for.

KBW

The month closed at Korea Blockchain Week, where GOAT Network was a Diamond Sponsor - and Seoul showed up.

The line at the GOAT booth was constant from opening until close.

Over the two days, more than 450 people came through Booth 37, and over 310 of them made a purchase through the live AI agent running at the booth. For most, it was the first agent purchase of their lives. The prize wheel did its job too: Seoul is now home to a great many goat plushies.

On the Stable Stage, CEO Kevin Liu presented Your Next Customer Is an AI Agent: what changes when the buyer is software, and what your products need before agents can find, understand, and buy them. Kevin also sat down with Bitcoin News on day one - that interview is now on the blog in full - and COO Sophia Li moderated a panel at 0G's House of AI side event to close out the conference.

The community was in the room as well. Our ticket giveaway was judged on one question - if your agent held your wallet, what should it buy first? - and winners @donutsoup7 and @jhoon1130 each took two passes to Walkerhill.

The full story of the two days - the live agent, the stage, and the numbers - is in GOAT Network at KBW 2026.

Action needed: the Stargate sunset

One item this month carries deadlines, so it gets its own section. LayerZero Labs is winding down its off-chain services and Stargate support across several chains, and GOAT Network is on the list. The chain itself is not affected - the GOAT canonical bridge and all GOAT-native assets continue as normal - but two dates matter, and the full notice covers both step by step.

If you hold USDC.e, USDT or WETH on GOAT Network, bridge them out through Stargate before October 23rd. Those three tokens are issued by Stargate and Stargate is their only redemption path, so tokens left behind - in a wallet or in a DeFi position - may become difficult or impossible to redeem. Withdraw from DeFi first, then bridge each token out, and don't leave it to the final days.

If you build an OApp or OFT that bridges to or from GOAT Network, complete the LayerZero V2 DVN and Executor migration before October 30th. The replacement DVNs and Executor are live today - our own BTCB and DOGEB OFTs already run on them in production - and the notice walks through the exact configuration.

Coming up

Kevin's Stable Stage talk, published in full. The bug bounty's final results and reward distribution. The GOAT Gift Card platform currently serves two countries - that number is about to get much bigger. And the Q4 pass on the agent payments data, on schedule.

At KBW, 450 people met an agent economy that already works. October's job is to introduce everyone else.

GOAT.Network is Bitcoin-secured infrastructure for agentic commerce.
