Role Overview
GOAT Network is building Bitcoin-secured infrastructure for the agentic economy. The North America Dev Rel owns the technical narrative, developer ecosystem, and builder pipeline in the markets where agent-native infrastructure is being built — primarily the US and Canada. This role sits at the intersection of protocol depth and community trust, and is the primary bridge between GOAT's core technology and the builders who will create real economic activity on the network.
What You'll Do
Technical Advocacy & Education
Own the technical storytelling for GOAT Network's core stack — BitVM, zkEVM, x402 payment protocol, ERC-8004 machine identity, and Agent Harness — across developer channels.
Write developer documentation, integration guides, and tutorials that help builders go from zero to first transaction in days, not weeks.
Create demo videos, code examples, and sample applications that show — not tell — what agent-native payments look like in practice.
Give talks and run workshops at developer conferences or events to build GOAT's technical credibility.
Builder Pipeline & Activation
Identify, qualify, and activate high-potential builders from the North America developer community with focus on agent builders, workflow/system designers, and AI-native product teams.
Run the technical onboarding process for the Builder Grants Program: review applications, assess builder potential, and guide accepted teams through integration.
Push builders from "interesting idea" to "real transaction", and this means hands-on support, not just pointing to docs.
Track builder progress post-grant and identify projects with traction worth escalating to ecosystem investment.
Community & Ecosystem
Build and manage developer presence across GitHub, Discord, Twitter/X, and relevant subreddits (r/ethereum, r/MachineLearning, r/AIAgents).
Organize and co-host hackathons, online workshops, and office hours with partner ecosystems (LangChain, n8n, Coze, Dify communities).
Act as the primary technical liaison with ecosystem partners, such as protocol integrators, dev tool companies, and infrastructure collaborators.
Maintain a feedback loop between the builder community and GOAT's product and engineering teams: surface real integration pain points, not just sentiment.
Content & Research
Publish technical content — blog posts, protocol comparisons, ecosystem analyses — that establishes GOAT as a credible voice in the agentic payment space.
Monitor the competitive landscape: x402 ecosystem, ACP, AP2, TAP, MPP — and translate protocol developments into clear positioning for builders.
Produce materials the China Ecosystem Coordinator can adapt for the Chinese market (technical explainers, case studies, integration playbooks).
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
3+ years in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a technical community role at a protocol, infrastructure, or developer-tooling company.
Strong hands-on technical background — you can read smart contract code, build a working integration, and debug an API issue without help.
Deep familiarity with the Web3 and AI agent tooling landscape
Track record of building developer communities from early stage — you've done this before, not just maintained an existing one.
Exceptional written communication: your docs, tweets, and talks are clear, specific, and respected by developers.
Based in or willing to work North America hours; comfortable with regular travel for conferences and events.
Strong Advantage
Prior experience with payment infrastructure, fintech protocols, or DeFi primitives.
Shipped a product or protocol integration that resulted in real on-chain transactions.
Existing personal network in the AI agent builder community (hackathon organizers, open-source contributors, Discord community leads).
Experience working with or alongside a BD or growth team — you know how to translate "cool tech" into "why you should build on this."
